Eric Allsop was born in Scotland in 1945 and he is married with two children and two grandchildren. Eric was a long time and active member of the Church of Scotland, Methodist church and latterly a regular attender of the Baptist church.

By professional background, Eric worked in a number of technical, sales, marketing, and general management roles. After his early retirement from the multinational company with which he was an employee for 26 years, Eric sat on the board of a local environmental agency.

Eric has used his retirement to conduct the extensive study and research required to write his first book ‘The Unholy Trinity’. He has also used the logical reasoning and objectivity developed over his years in technical and management roles. The book also reflects Eric’s long relationship with, and disillusionment of, the established church.
